We stumbled across this beautiful mosque on our last day in Istanbul. Süleymaniye Mosque was my personal favourite mosque out of all that we went to.
We sat in the courtyard for hours, in the shade with the cool breeze.
Pia and I outside the main gate.
We then walked to the Golden Horn Metro Bridge, passing through the Spice Bazaar again. The views from the bridge were spectacular.
Looking across to the other part of the European side. Galata tower is the triangular building sticking up from the skyline.
Looking back to the European historical side, where we were staying.
We had until 8PM to waste time so we sat by the harbour and watched the locals set up their food stalls for dinner.
After a delicious fish sandwich (the perfect blend of lemon, spices, salad and fish), we headed back to the hotel to checkout then to the bus stop for our overnight bus to Cappadocia.
