We started the day off at La Rambla Food Markets where we marvelled at all of the delicious foods on display.
Jamon Serrano, a very famous delicious Spanish cured meat (the Spanish version of Prosciutto).
Juices galore and for only €1 each!
My acai coconut juice.
After the markets we headed to Park Güell, designed by Gaudi.
The gingerbread-like buildings.
Trencadís: Gaudi's mosaic technique of reusing crushed up tile scraps.
The beautiful famous view of Barcelona.
And one more from further up the hill.
Afterwards, we headed to the beach to watch the sunset.
And for dinner we got these amazing things (the photo doesn't do it justice) at the local festival. A giant piece of toasted sourdough with freshly melted Brie, Serrano ham, capsicum, tomato and rocket.
