Day 59: Munch and munching

Cara and I walked to the nearby Munch Museum.

And we saw the infamous 'The Scream'.

Then spent the rest of the Sunday making dinner.

At 10:30pm I headed to the bus stop to take an overnight bus to Denmark but I accidentally completely mixed up the times and missed my bus! I headed back to Torgeir's and booked another for the following day.

Day 58

Spent the day lazing around preparing and making our delicious dinner and desert (lemon tart and soup - PS my sister is an amazing cook).

Day 57

We had a delicious brunch to start the day.

Then Cara, Gustav and I went to Frogner Park.

The 'sculpture park' was designed by Gustav Vigeland in the 1920s. 

An art exhibit in the park; Kongolandsbven: a 'zoo village'.

Afterwards we took the tram to the harbour..

..Where we got delicious soft serve ice creams.

Then stopped by Gustav's work to help Tori, an artist, assemble her troll sculpture.

Then for dinner, we went out to celebrate Gustav's friend (Paul)'s good news.

Day 56

We started the day right with a giant breakfast feast.

Then took a road trip to a small town about an hour and half from Oslo where we went to an art gallery..

Then had crackers, cheese and candy by the river.

We spent the ride back quizzing each other before getting sushi for dinner.

Day 55: Madrid to Norway

And then there was one..

I took the bus to the airport and took a plane to Oslo, Norway where I was picked up by my sister and her boyfriend (Gustav).

Day 54: Adios Pia!

Exploring Madrid..

A really interesting building in Plaza Mayor.

The food markets recommended to us by a girl friend Madrid staying at the same hostel as us in Sevilla.

We spent the afternoon at an exhibition at the Museo Nacional del Prado then headed back to the hostel to pack our things. We had our last dinner together and then Pia left at 2am for her flight back to England!

Day 53

We spent the day getting to Madrid where we checked in to our hostel and hung out that evening with some new British friends.

Day 52: day trip to Córdoba

We were up bright and early to take the train to Córdoba and spend the day there.

First stop, the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos.

After a delicious lunch we went to the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba.

We took the train back to Sevilla in the late afternoon and made pasta for dinner.
