The MET

I spent the whole day at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and I still don't think I saw everything..

Huge is an understatement.

This exhibit reminded me of Turkey!

A giant Buddha head.

And another huge statue.

I went a bit crazy at the MET, recognising so many famous artworks I studied at school.

Manet

Van Gough

Degas

Picasso

Cezanne

Orazio

These flags reminded me of the ones Pia and I saw in Siena, Italy.

One of my favourite rooms was the André Mertens Galleries for Musical Instruments (my inner music geek was in heaven)
The history of clarinets...

..cornettes...

...the trombone..

..And guitars!

And finally, my two favourite photographs from the Gary Winogrand Exhibition.
