Anyone that knows me knows that I don't particularly like science.. But I felt I owed it to my 10 year old self to visit the American Museum of Natural History, aka where Night at the Museum is based.
The taxidermy glass displays are so detailed..

The cross section of a giant tree..
Dum dum from the movie aka an Easter Island head.
And a t-Rex skeleton, also featured in the movie.
Afterwards, I got my first slice of New York cheesecake (delicious), then met Cara and we got our hair cut on the Lower East Side.
For dinner, we went to a Japanese shabushabu restaurant (so good).
