Day 64: Olafur Eliasson

On my last day in Denmark, Kirsten (Sophie's mum) drove me to Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk.

The museum was absolutely amazing.

The cafe that looks out across the Sound...

..with a view of Sweden in the distance.

A hidden pond at the museum..

As well as a secret beach..

And garden..

And finally the main reason I made the trip to the Lousiana Museum of Modern Art, to see the Olafur Eliasson exhibit (my favourite artist of all time).

One of his models of sculptures, installations and other works on a crowded table.

The main installation exhibit "Riverbed".

After viewing all of the exhibits, I took the train to Copenhagen where I said bye to Sven and Kirsten, thanked them for their amazing hospitality and took another train to the airport. I had a bit of a scare at the airport, having to buy a last minute return ticket out of the US in order to enter it on my visa but I managed to book one a few minutes before checkout closed.
